Some argue that the car is faster, or looks better without it. But I say that if you’re driving a Countach and you’re thinking that you should “tone it down just a bit” you’re doing it completely wrong.

Northrup ingeniously turned the classic rear wing design upside down . So instead of producing downforce like would normally be expected, it produced lift instead. Truly innovative.

I’m generally not a fan of the 996, but I forgot about the GT3 wing which looked like it could double as a weird alien handweapon. It is pretty though.

I’m just slowly shaking my head at the lack of any obvious rubber on that wing. What is this the 90’s?

For real though, the Escort did managa to make that wing sorta, kinda good looking. But i’d argue that was never the point anyway. Polished and refined aren’t what I think of when I think of Ford Rally cars from the mid 80’s to the mid 90’s.

Literally how i think they came up with the. The regular “laguna” spoiler on the normal escorts had some weird shapes aswell, but atleast that worked awesome as an easy handle/place to shove with your arm to the get the boot open..

The Talon looks similar to the Cosworth which makes it ok. The stealth looks like a tv receiver you see on top of club vans so they can watch golden girls and mash
